Child passport

The child passport is a document which enables you to travel abroad with your child. It needs the child passport because it does not have any identification document yet. Note that the child passport is valid only for one year. However, it can be renewed every year, until your child is 12 years old. After that, your child can get a casual passport.

You can apply for the Child passport at the competent authority with your child. The fee is 13,- €. Please take the birth certificate and a biometric passport photo of your infant with you.
